Laundry

I'm not sure what it is. Maybe it's the warm sun on my back, maybe it's the fresh smell of clean sheets, maybe it's seeing my clothes flapping in the blissful breeze that swirls through my apartment. There is something serene about it. I love hanging my laundry on the clothesline on our lanai.

Speaking of laundry...remember the time when you were wearing your bathing suit because you had absolutely no clothes left! Haha....I just remembered that from our fabulous Centennial days as I read your post. Love you!

My mom has always loved hanging laundry outside! It always smells fresh and wonderful!
PS remember that time at girls camp when I didn't have any pants? hahahahahaha!

Karen - yes, I do remember that! Oh Centennial. What a summer!

Kathleen - hahahahaha! I can't remember why you didn't have pants, but I definitely remember cracking up about it all night!

Clean clothes flapping on the line have always had a mesmerizing effect on me. They calm me down and put me right to sleep.
Oh, and what is a lanai? Is it a little balcony?

Katie - yes, a lanai is a little balcony. Just enough room for a sink and the clothesline. I'm still trying to figure out where I could put a mini garden.
